An excellent vintage offset lithograph, print, of "The Posters in Trouville" (1906) by Albert Marquet. Signed in the print (printed): "Marquet". Printed on one side. Hand tipped-in on a board of heavy paper. Numbered on the board: IX. Information regarding the original artwork will be found by lifting the piece. Comes from a rare Limited German Edition art folio published by Editions du Chene in France, in 1950. Excellent condition - minor edge wear on the board, never framed.

Albert Marquet was a French painter. He initially became one of the Fauve painters and a lifelong friend of Henri Matisse. Marquet subsequently painted in a more naturalistic style, primarily landscapes, but also several portraits and, between 1910 and 1914, several female nude paintings
