Thonet is considered the oldest furniture manufacturer in the world.
The double-curved backrest is striking, giving the chair an organic and aesthetic shape.
The seat was supplemented in the 1960s with a patrol-colored seat cushion, which was attached with rivets. This increased the seating comfort.

This model 476 should be of interest to collectors simply because it is almost impossible to get hold of anymore.
The label used at the time (a paper protection mark) is attached to both chairs.

Despite the visible dents in the wood, the condition can be described as good. It is still stable. However, one of the two upholstery covers is torn in the front area. There is also a pressure mark on the cover. See photos.
