The three-dimensional design depicts a stylized flower bloom with four scalloped petals surrounding a large emerald-cut crystal embellished with trios of tendrils set with tiny crystals. The center stone is delicious -- intricately faceted, with an open-back setting that allows light to flood through and illuminate it. The curved "petals" seem to be kinetic, as if they were in gentle motion around the glistening center stone. As with all of the Mazer Brothers creations, the workmanship is exquisite and carefully detailed. On the back is a hinged prong fastener, indicating that this was made as an adornment for a fur coat or stole; but it functions equally well as a standard brooch. Singular and stunning! Excellent condition. Signed "Mazer" and "17" (stone setter's mark). 1.75"l x 1.75"W x 0.4"H. See less
