Very lovely and very Italian, this little painting oozes lakeside charm. Painted on a ceramic tile, the scene features a girl walking a path along the lake with a village and mountains in the distance. It's signed A Right and displayed in a beautiful gilt-finish wood frame. There is no glass, only the ceramic tile.
This pretty Italian painting was recently re-backed, but we kept the original note "Purchased 1954 Italy." There are some very light scuffs to the paint and to the frame (commensurate with age) but it's overall in great condition -- the paint still bright and vibrant. The frame corners are still tight and the piece overall is in solid condition.
The frame measures 8.5 x 8.5, making this piece easy to display nearly anywhere.
