Unusual Tapa cloth made from bark cloth made in the islands of the Pacific Ocean. They were often given as gifts and are decorated by rubbing, stamping, stenciling, smoking or dyeing. They usually contain geometric patterns and repeated motifs. The traditional dyes are black or rust-brown color.
This cloth has been framed behind plexiglass and is in excellent condition.
This is one of the nicest I have seen. Great for the man cave or Tiki bar.
This piece measures 69" tall x 35" wide x 1.5" deep.
