Excellent well built late 19th early 20th century bookcase with carved and flared top and bottom molding that is added for the use of stacking multiple shelves on top of each other sturdily. There is no manufacturer tag on it but there is a lighter spot in the finish of the middle of the top back where one is usually labeled.. This cabinet sits ready to use as is but can easily be broken down and apart into 4 pieces (top, bottom, sides, and front glass door). It has been made with deep grooves around the top and bottom pieces that the sides (all one piece) sit down into. Sits very solid while put together but easily taken apart. It’s made this way to add additional sections if you desire but It could also easily be made to stay together for good with some wood glue or simple work. The Bookcases front glass lift door is missing the pull knob a simple cheap fix but other than that it is in amazing condition. The bookcase has no damage noted and no stains or deep cuts or gashes with only minor wear and imperfections to the wood’s surface consistent with its age and use.
