Signed on … Read more Vintage mid 20th century lidded pottery footed serving bowl or tangine by Joel Edwards (1923 - 2007) California. Signed on bottom, original studio price tag inside lid, brown and gray abstract decorated matte glaze, speckled cream glazed interior. Well known Californian potter he studied at the Brooklyn Museum School in Brooklyn, New York and MFA Otis Art Institute (now Otis College of Art and Design) in Los Angeles, California. Edwards was a student of Peter Voulkos at Otis. He also studied under Marguerite Wildenhain and Soji Hamada. Excellent condition. See less
