Vintage well-made matching pair of semi-reclining teak arm armchairs.
Time and weathered patina that only ocean breezes can create.
Original patina has only been treated with teak oil and coated with weather resistant urethane.
5 position reclining.
Teak wood has been used for boat and outdoor furniture construction for centuries as the wood is well known for it’s weather resistant qualities. When left outdoors the beautiful golden brown color of the wood will assume a silvery grey patina over time giving this chair the classic look of furniture found in English gardens. Solid patinated brass hardware adds nautical sophistication in the joints of the chair. Chair folds away for storage when not in use.
These chairs have been loved over the years on the deck of a sea cruiser!

A few of the tiny wooden screw plug covers are missing. Some loosening of the joints. Some slight grain separation along the grain as expected for their age. One arm of one chair on the right side has a more pronounced split. See pics for close ups. These chairs have a wonderful vintage look and years of life and usefulness left. I'm happy to deliver them in the Baltimore- Washington area. less
