The oval top plates impress with their inlayed flower motives and are enthroned on narrow, beautifully carved, solid cherrywood columns. By the way, did you recognize that both tops of the side tables were inlayed reversed - what a great idea! Mounted on outstanding shaped three-feet bases with additonal lovely gilt buds, these antique Biedermeier side tables come in good, old restored condition. The gorgeous set veneered surfaces show a traditional hand polished shellac finish which finalize the outstanding appearance of this elaborate 19th century side table set.
