A magnificent antique french bronze lamp figure ‘la paix’ by jean-jules cambos (1828-1917). This dates from around the 1880-1890 period.
it is very large and impressive, it is of outstanding quality and it is a functional sculpture, with a fully wired lamp and glass flame shade. The details are incredibly beautiful, this stands on a gorgeous rouge marble plinth base. The bronze is signed j. Cambos and there is a brass placque on the base with the artists name and title of the piece.
the condition is superb, this has a stunning patina and there is no damage to be seen. We have had this re-wired, the lamp is in good working order.

height – 49 inches , 124 cm this piece has an attribution mark,
i am sure that it is completely authentic and take full responsibility for any authenticity
