A French pair of double-arm giltwood candelabras from the 1700s. This impressive, hand-carved and gilded pair of light fixtures are most likely from a church or cathedral as the centers feature a cross within an oval cartouche. Floral motifs behind this central medallion fan out and rise to torch finial at the top as an expression of spiritual light beyond what the two candelabra-base bulbs can provide. Recently wired for US electrical using UL listed parts, the fixtures are ready for your interior. Be sure to view the detailed images to see the current condition of this antique pair of candelabras.
