It has a dark, rich color and is of an intimidating size, but the smooth handle fits comfortably even in small hands—sorry kids—you CAN feed the chickens! ;)
Definitely NOT made in a factory or mass-produced, its beauty lies in its craftsmanship and ruggedness—working hard for over 200 years and still ready to go the distance! For anyone who has ever fed chickens, turkeys or geese, they know that animals can get “frisky” at feeding time—I would feel a lot more confident with this scooper in my hand—to help curtail any aggressive diners!
