Rare mid-century art deco inspired reading lamp. Beautiful polished brass highlights this piece that has endured a prior paint make over. At some point the original brass plating was lost on the two accent pieces. We decided to polish what remained and we really like the result. These pieces could easily be re-plated if that is something you would like to explore. The art deco base shows patina and some corrosion spots that give it some character.
A wonderful addition to your "shabby chic" or "cottage core" aesthetic.
Light socket was replaced with period accurate vintage socket, along with new wiring throughout. We displayed with an 8" milk glass difuser but believe several other options would look great.
