For your consideration...
A thoughtfully curated collection of six 6-inch dessert spoons that have elegantly aged and lived life to the fullest, having enjoyed countless desserts and cups of tea. These charming pieces represent the finest in early 20th century American silverplate craftsmanship - sterling silver beautifully plated over copper.
Each spoon was crafted in the New England region by the prestigious Rogers family of silversmiths, including pieces from William Rogers, Hamilton and Rogers, and Rogers Bros. - all representing the same exceptional quality from a company that evolved through various transitions during the early 1900s.
The styling is a delightful blend of Rococo and Baroque influences with subtle hints of Art Nouveau, creating pieces that are both ornate and graceful. Discovered during a summer sojourn at an estate sale in historic Cape Cod, these spoons carry the romance and history of New England's golden age.
Condition: Authentically aged with all the elegant dings and patina that speak to a life well-lived. We've given them a gentle polish while preserving the beautiful patina that reveals their storied past - we love seeing their age, and hope you do too.
Each spoon measures approximately 6 inches, making them perfect for afternoon tea, dessert service, or as a distinctive addition to round out your silverware collection.
