It has a glossy royal blue background, decorated with hand painted storks and wisteria trees in gold with overlay enamels in colors of teal, forest green and orange. The dish is oval in shape with a scalloped gold trim rim and rectangular shaped handle accented with gold. The overall early Art Deco design was inspired by the 1920's discovery of Tutankhamen's tomb in Egypt. See less
