Truly lovely and subtle original acrylic on paper from a listed American artist (deceased) based in Washington, D.C. - David Yerkes.
Subject is clearly a perfect swatch of Northern Italy, portrayed by the delicate hand of a talented hand.
Green, black, pink, gray, and burnt orange...a mid-century vibe with truly elegant presentation.
18.5" tall by 24.25" wide - custom framing for sure. Very simple matte grey molding with museum style pure white mat to be sure the viewer concentrates on the beautiful subject.
In keeping with Aesop's fable, Fox and Crow's Motto is "Beware of False Flattery!" So, with each listing we offer a true confession about the item...we were INCREDIBLY lucky to find two of Yerkes original paintings in a very fine Northern Virginia estate. To our tastes, they are exceptional - we can look at them all day. So, in the spirit of our avocation and some healthy downsizing, here is your chance to own ONE of them.
