Initially created as a digital drawing as part of the research project “Drawing Flowers Every Day - April/May”, the image was converted into a physical painting whilst retaining the original sensations. The title is a line from the artist’s emotional state on that day, as referenced by his diary. The semi-abstract nature of this work shows the his deep work into abstract research, combined with detailed figurative body/plants studies. Vibrant bright colours are favoured in the palettes of these works, reflecting the artists’s personal relationship with colour. See less
