This matted vintage original French haute couture fashion drawing is from 1970. Purchased by us in Paris. It is a pen and ink on drawing paper with affixed layered fabric samples in reds, pinks and green silks. The skirt features "rays" of satin. Notations in French describe the floor length dress in detail. The dress is named “FLIRT”---FUN! The Parisian atelier name ALGO is in upper right. The drawing is affixed to a vintage wallpaper that borders the image and enhances its appeal. This is one of a small collection we purchased from a Parisian vendor who specializes in original fashion drawings. Excellent, pristine condition. This drawing paper is 8 ¼ x 11 ½ inches, drawing with border is 9 ¼ x 12 ¾ inches. It comes custom matted in a white 16 x 20 inch mat ready for a standard size frame.
