Very stylish and sophisticated pair of ceramic lamps, designed by Gerald Thurston, for Lightolier. The ceramic body has an Aztec influence motif, each mounted on a solid wood plinth base (finish on base shows wear). Both have three sockets, which can be operated independently, as shown. Height to top of ceramic body 20 inches.
Unusual and not often seen form from recognized master of Modernist lighting design.
