Mollers Mobelfabrik set of 4 unupholstered but ready for new. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, they have been undressed and given new webbing but do not currently have padding or upholstery; however, we can provide that service if needed for an additional cost see NOTE below. The frames have been cleaned, some spots filled, sanded lightly, and given a coat of Danish oil. Two teak plugs have been added where previously repaired. Please see photos, zoom in for details, and see long description as they are part of the condition report. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Mid-20th Century.

WOW!!!! We have an INCREDIBLE set of four Neils O. Moller Scandinavian Modern Model #71 teak dining chairs by J.L. Mollers Mobelfabrik to offer to you!!! They are comprised of four straight tapered legs with the front two stopping at the seat top and the back two continuing up as the back-support posts. The back is a simple bowed band of teak between the two posts. The seats have been removed and NEW webbing installed. And as we stated, do not currently have upholstery; however, we can provide if you would like or an additional cost… see NOTE above. Just think of the wonderful fabric options!! When viewed from the side, they have kind of a swoop dimension… They’re FABULOUS!! The smooth clean lines of these Scandinavian Modern dining chairs will beautifully blend with many interior design styles from Danish Modern to modern country or a mountain rustic house, and from mid-century modern to industrial or a home with a western flair. In 1944, Neils Otto Møller founded J.L. Møllers Møbelfabrik in Denmark, a company that has received many awards, including the Danish Furniture Prize in 1974 and 1981. He designed with no compromise and a work ethic that would take him years to complete. His work ethic is why the Møller collection is relatively small for a company that’s been around for more than 70 years, but that’s what makes Møller so special. Their designs are clean, simple, and timeless. In the 1960s, Niels’ sons Jørgen Henrik Moller and Jens Ole Møller completed their cabinetmaking training and joined the company. Ten years later, they began exporting to Japan, which remains one of the company’s biggest markets due to the simplicity and quality of the design and craftsmanship. Today, J.L.
