Chair No. 14 is the most famous chair of the originally German firm Thonet, that later relocated to Vienna. Designed by its founder Michael Thonet in 1859. This set of 6 No. 14 chairs was produced by Josef Hoffmann, around 1900. Marked with paper label under the seat. The chairs have all been checked (including the joints) and restored where necessary. All seats have new hand-woven rattan webbing. Some traces of old woodworm.
