The collection was borne of Herkner's fascination with cast glass, and his desire to create something truly unique. To achieve each tabletop's substantial 50-cm thickness, Herkner leaves liquid glass in a special metal mold, allowing it to solidify over the course of several days. The air bubbles in the glass give each tabletop a unique character that calls to mind the beauty of water.This piece is available in a number of colors; please inquire with us for details.
