Late 19th century, Copeland Spode porcelain covered Blue Willow dish with a silver-plated top. The covered butter, lemon or cheese dish is in great antique condition. Minor wear consistent with age. Copeland maker's mark undersigned. The piece stands 5.5" wide, and 4.5" tall.
I purchased this years ago at an antique shop in Gloucestershire in the picturesque Cotswolds, west of London. A most charming piece for your table. I've used this for butter, lemons, cheese and on the bar with mixed nuts.
