This is variation number 294 of the iconic series. This striking and dramatic variation features a strange depiction of Lina's profile. While the face is in profile and one-half of the plate is black, the right eye looks directly towards the viewer creating a false sense that you are looking at the image face on. This hand decorated porcelain plate can be used ornamentally as a centrepiece, as a catch-all vide-poche, or as a wall decoration. With original black, white and gilt presentation box. See less
