Heyden studied in the Bauhaus tradition at the School of Arts Zurich under Johannes Itten and Elsi Giaque. She later relocated to the U.S. in North Carolina with her husband during the mid-60s where her weaving style truly blossomed. This wall hanging includes Silvia Heyden's signature label on the back.
