Crafted in Italy circa 1850, each colorful chubby boy dressed with glass eyes, stands on a globe form base decorated with geometric motifs. The hand carved young Bacchus are depicted standing up and holding an amphora filled of grapes. The tall sculptures are in excellent condition and adorn a rich painted and polychrome finish with some gilt accents.
