Superb carved unglazed body and glazed neck on this handmade studio pottery vintage vase, signed "Moni."
The different textures and intricate details make this a one-of-a-kind piece! Rough raw clay with carved dimensional body, reminiscent of fans, coral, hills, or underwater creatures. Neck of the vase has dripping grey glaze with a hint of iridescence over a more rustic speckled glaze underneath. Interior is fully glazed, and ready for your bouquet.
This piece is likely 1960s, definitely handmade and vintage.
