Studio pottery vase, signed "Moni".
Sourced in Sacramento, California.
Superb carved unglazed body and glazed neck on this handmade studio pottery vintage vase.
The different textures and intricate details make this a one-of-a-kind piece! Rough raw clay with carved dimensional body, reminiscent of fans, coral, hills, or underwater creatures. Neck of the vase has dripping grey glaze with a hint of iridescence over a more rustic speckled glaze underneath. Interior is fully glazed, and ready for your bouquet.
This piece is likely 1960s, definitely handmade and vintage.
