A rare, one-of-a-kind antique African tribal wood and polychrome painted zoomorphic Bobo dance mask. Originating in Mali, this handcrafted face mask features a striking bull form face with circular shaped horns, elongated ears, and dramatic red and silver paint to front of mask. This mask is over 100 years old, in excellent condition with a fantastic patina and presents wonderfully. There has been professional restoration to left horn.
