Mid 20th Century London Transport Poster
Spring In The Air - by Harry Stevens (commissioned in 1961)
Printed by The Baynard Press for London Transport 1963
"London Transport commissioned this poster in 1961 to promote leisure travel to the country. It was issued in the spring to encourage Londoners to make the most of their countryside." - London Transport Museum website.
The poster was available to purchase at the poster shop in Marylebone - "This is a reproduction of a poster designed for London Transport" is printed on the image as it was for sale during the period.
The poster has been newly professionally framed with a black wooden frame.
The poster has been used and has signs of wear including some creasing and a small tear in the top. This piece has an attribution mark,
