This high-quality studio ceramic art vase was created by Johannes Leßmann for the famous Keramische Werkstatt Margaretenhöhe in Essen Germany in the late 1920s.
The workshop was founded in 1924 by Margarete Krupp in Esssen. Johannes Leßmann succeeded Will Lammert as head of the workshop in 1927. Johannes Leßmann was a student of Otto Lindig - the important Bauhaus ceramist. This piece has an attribution mark,
