The Lotus Flowers, Vase and Stand are beautifully and skillfully appliqued on a Linen background.
The Lotus stems are worked in embroidery.

The applique textile has been custom framed and matted in a mid-century style Black frame.
The back has been covered in brown Kraft paper and has a 2" bar on the back screwed to each side of the frame to support the weight of the frame.

Measurements: 24 1/4" T x 13" W x 1 1/2" D

Frame, Glass and Applique are all in Very good condition.
There are some tears in the Kraft paper (see photos)
Corners of frame need touching up with black.
Top right hand side of the frame near the corner have some small scratches in the frame.

Linen is clean and the applique is beautifully stitched and no loose or missing stitches.
When looking at the top of the textile from eye level view you see an inch of white - could be a part of museum mount. See less
