This pitcher signed Elchinger is a traditional Alsatian ceramic! It dates from the beginning of the 20th century. In glazed earthenware, it is decorated with stylized vine leaves and bunches of grapes. We imagine this pitcher on a beautiful rustic bistro table, used as a water or pinot noir pot, or even used as a pretty vase on a primitive sideboard.
The pitcher is in glazed earthenware, nicely pot-bellied. It is in very good condition but shows some traces of time on its surface including small losses on the neck and beak. The stamp of the Elchinger ceramic workshops is present at its base. The piece is numbered.
