A highly collectible limited edition lithograph after Pablo Picasso’s preparatory study for Guernica (1937), one of the most iconic works of the 20th century. This piece reproduces an original sketch created by Picasso and dated in the matrix “1 Mai 1937”, capturing the raw energy and composition that informed the final masterpiece.

Numbered Edition Lithograph of preparatory sketch created by Picasso for his 1937 Guernica, transfer dated (1.Mai.37 ). From the presses of Akademische Druck in Graz Austria 1990 with emboss stamp authentication in lower corner and S.P.A.D.E.M authorized and sealed verso. Dated in the matrix 1 May 1937 and is watermarked twice, showing authenticity (one by emboss stamp watermark and the second Watermarked showing authenticity by S.P.A.D.E.M. on reverse, see images). It was created by the artist on 1 May 1937 and is one of a Numbered Limited Edition of 199 from a total edition of only I-IC and 1-199 (298). Included with artwork: Gallery Prepared Documentation included (Certificate of Authentication, Provenance, and Limited Edition Numbered Justification Copy).
