The shape is … Read more A stunning Mid-century modern studio pottery hand-turned vase from the talented Karl Jüttner workshop from the 60s. The shape is simple yet unusual with a small, raised opening, but it the colors that make this vase so special it has a deep corn-flower blue base with white details in a very advanced form of glazing. The wonderful thick matte glaze in shimmering blue and white completes the overall look of the vase. There is no damage and it is in a fantastic condition and it has the Karl Jüttner mark is on the bottom. Karl Jüttner (1921-2006) of Saalfeld, Thüringen, Germany. Most of his work was created during the time of the German Democratic Republic (GDR) or East Germany.

It is 24cm (9,44') high and around 15cm (5.90') in diameter. This piece has an attribution mark,
