A hole on the handle for hanging and display
It seems that there is a faded 3-lines mysterious inscription at the back of the handle, witch we cannot make out due to age, oxidation, wear and extensive handling and cleaning
Circa early 19th century, American, found in Massachusetts
Measurements: Approximately 15" long x 1.75" wide x 0.25" thick
It weighs 1 lb. 2 oz.
Condition: Very Good overall. Please see photos. Nice patina and oxidation, commensurate with age and use. All original.
