Beautiful and rare, vintage Murano hand blown gold flecks and bright red vine leaf design Italian art glass bowl or ashtray. Documented to designer Ercole Barovier for the Barovier e Toso company, circa 1950s. The bowl is profusely covered in heavy gold leaf. It has high sides with 2 indents on the rim. Would make a great display piece on any vanity, coffee table or credenza. Use it as a catchall, candy dish, or ashtray. Mid Century era. Measures 6" long x 6" wide x 2 3/4" tall.
