Each one is made of two rosewood pieces that were hand carved to fit onto the center brass/ bronze section and secured with a double tang closure on each side. The set includes two serving spoons, carving knife and fork, cake knife and server, meat fork, sugar spoon, cheese fork, olive fork and cheese spreader all in excellent vintage condition. The glossy golden brass is easily cared for by occasional polishing with a one-part vinegar, two parts water with a soft cloth. I favor my norwex cloth- while microfiber is preferred, I hate the feel.
