Showing for Sale tall Queen Ann Chest of Drawers wonderful piece of History. Has been restored as seen in pics, solid as a rock, part back of Chest, no picture of full back as I couldn't lift it from the base which is what the complete chest is sitting on.
3 large drawers with set of 2 at top. Drawers are of wood, heavy. Age for the dovetailing is unique for the time, hand tooled, one inch wide as seen in pics. Chest has been waxed recently, it's amazing for the age. Former owner's from Connecticut owned it for two or three generations but did have it restored.
Great for a Bedroom, Dining Room for the Linen's and Silverware, it would show style added to any room in the
house. Quite a conversational piece of History to own.

Back has been … moreBeautiful Chest of Drawers, sit's on a Base with Queen Ann Legs, restoration yes, many years ago. Back has been white washed, as is consistent with early restoration of this time. All is waxed and polished and shows the Dovetails carved by hand in the making. Has little waxed nicks on the top but being the height it is, very minor due to age. Suitable for a mirror sitting on top. The age is incredible. All the drawers are solid wood. This is a great Chest and History to be admired by all. less
