The large handled art pottery pitcher is made in Perry Oklahoma in the 1950's. The Modernist style design form is beautiful in the vibrant avocado palette, a gorgeous ombre blend of dark olive green and chartreuse.

The rare and unusual forms of Tamac Pottery hold an important place in the history of 20th Century Modernist design. Tamac Pottery was featured alongside the work of Eva Zeisel and Ben Seibel in the Brooklyn Museum of Art's exhibition " Vital Forms: American Art and Design in the Atomic Age, 1940 - 1960 ".

The rare Mid Century Modern art pottery pitcher measures 8 1/2" W D 6 1/2" D X 7 3/4" H, with a 4 QT. capacity.
