This high-quality studio ceramic art vase was created by the German ceramist and artisan Ulli Wittich-Großkurth (*1932) in the city of Jena in the GDR during the 1960s. The bottle-shaped vase features a special black-silver glaze.
Wittich-Großkurth founded her own workshop “Töpferklause" in 1957. She was active in various artists' associations and taught at Burg Giebichenstein - University of Art and Design in Halle. Her works range from small vessels to large sculptures and reliefs. This piece has an attribution mark,
