A high quality Japanese Meiji era enamel over copper vase. The urn shaped vase is enameled with polychrome medallions featuring Phoenix bird and dragon designs surrounded by floral and foliage patterns made in the Cloisonne technique. The upper part is decorated with floral, foliage, foliate scroll, and butterfly ornaments made in the same technique. The base features floral, and geometrical patterns made in the Cloisonne technique. The ground is inlaid with Gold stones. Circa: 19th century Unmarked.
