This beautifully handcrafted mid-century cristallo Murano ceiling lamp is adorned with beautiful golden leaves. The bulbous center column and leaves utilize scroll details, while the central bowl utilizes the bullicante technique adding delightful polka dot embellishments. The glass-houses on the island of Murano are famous for highly ornamented glass chandeliers made of pincered and molded blown glass. This elegant fixture showcases a mastery of such Venetian glass craftsmanship.
The body and arms of this piece are made of clear, colorless Venetian glass enhanced with 24-carat gold leaf. The subtle glints of gold dispersed throughout mimic the look of sunbeams when lit. Otherwise, the translucent crystalline glass blends with any color palette.

This chandelier is rewired to meet US electrical standards. It takes three candelabra-size bulbs, incandescent or LED. Three feet of wire at the top can be adjusted to the preferred length. This fixture requires a canopy and chain which is not included. Glassblown, no part is perfect or identical. The arms are numbered to correspond to numbered slots. No chips, or cracks in the glass. Please see all the images, especially the close-ups. Parts are disassembled and require assembly. This fixture will require special handling and shipping by an experienced white glove service experienced in dismantling, packaging, and reassembling upon installation. To ship, it is dissembled. Dimensions without ceiling cover and chain: H=30 in. W=17.5 in. D=17.5 in. 10 lbs.
