The Pop Art lithograph print is published by Te Neues Verlag Kempen, and Te Neues Publishing Company New York. Printed in Germany in 1993 in an unnumbered limited edition. It features an artwork image originally created by Rauschenberg in 1964 titled " Retroactive ", Stefan T. Edlis Collection, copyright VG Bild-Kunst Bonn, 1993.

Robert Rauschenberg ( 1925 - 2008 ) is recognized as one of the Twentieth Century's most influential and prolific artists. He is credited with binding the gap between the movements of Abstract Expressionism and Pop Art. A pioneer of the " Transfer Drawing " process, he experimented in technologically sophisticated combinations of photographs and drawings. He is highly regarded as a Modern Master of mixed media and collage. The works are layered and transcend the two dimensional format for the viewer. Art works by Rauschenberg are included in the permanent collections of more than 70 of the world's most prestigious museums.

The rare out of print offset lithograph print measures 11 3/4" W X 15 3/4" H, with an image area of 9 1/2" W X 13 3/8" H. It is printed on smooth finish premium paper stok with a satin eggshell finish.
