This beautiful etching reproduction depicts the embroidery patterns in cutwork technique designed for the ladies of the court of Henry III. This print is part of a larger book by the artist Nicolas Xavier Willemin (1763-1833), titled Monuments français inédits pour servir à l'histoire des arts depuis le VIe siècle jusqu'au commencement du XVIIe, published in 1839.
I have several of these beautiful etchings listed and these would make a stunning wall display grouping.
