This etching reproduction depicts the pediments of two buildings dating to the 10th and 11th centuries. The title at the top reads "Frontons de deux edifices des Xe. et XIe. siècles" (Pediments of two buildings from the 10th and 11th centuries).
This print is part of a larger book by the artist Nicolas Xavier Willemin (1763-1833), titled Monuments français inédits pour servir à l'histoire des arts depuis le VIe siècle jusqu'au commencement du XVIIe, published in 1839.
I have several of these beautiful etchings listed and these would make a stunning wall display grouping.
