This is an etching reproduction of a piece depicting decorative crowning elements in a church in Normandie, France. This piece is titled "Clef de voute et couronnement d’un pilier dodécagône, sculptures de l’an 1518" (Keystone and crowning element of a dodecagonal pillar, sculptures from the year 1518).
This print is part of a larger book by the artist Nicolas Xavier Willemin (1763-1833), titled Monuments français inédits pour servir à l'histoire des arts depuis le VIe siècle jusqu'au commencement du XVIIe, published in 1839.
I have several of these beautiful etchings listed and these would make a stunning wall display grouping.
