It is done in … Read more This is a Very Nice Looking Authentic Antique American Duck Hunting Decoy. Circa Early 20th Century. It is done in the Classic Style. It is Completely Hand Made - Hand Carved out of Pine Wood with a very nice assortment of hand painted features. Note Also that it has Inset Lifelike Glass Eyes! I purchased the piece on one of my recent picking trips in the Central New Hampshire Region. Condition is Very Good and is Displays Nicely. It has had a bit of repair - restoration work over the years as this is a "Working Decoy" meaning that it was used by hunters - was not made as a decorator item. Damage and Repairs are Quite Common with Working Decoys.
It Measures Overall Approx 7 inches Tall x 17 inches Long x 5 1/4 inches Wide.
