Magnificent and ultra rare pair of art nouveau arts & crafts armchairs. Design by royal h.f. Jansen & zonen amsterdam. Striking dutch design from the 1900s. Solid oak frames with original hand-carved elements and inlay. Re-upholstered with velvet fabric. The furniture company royal h.f. Jansen & zonen amsterdam was famous for their high quality and well designed pieces of furniture. The company has decorated several rooms for various palaces of the royal family in the netherlands.
