Antique 1912 Birmingham sterling silver tea canister / tea caddy / snuff by Duncan & Scobbie. Oval body with footed base and lid.
"Duncan & Scobbie - Flatware manufacturers in Glasgow, scotland. Mark registered in 1906. Manufacturing circa 1909-1934. Listed in Chester Gold & Silver Marks 1570 – 1962; Ridgway and Priestley as George Gabriel Duncan trading as Duncan & Scobbie and by 1919 he was the Sole Partner.
