Stunning set of 6 French majolica oyster plates by the high quality maker Sarreguemines.
Six scallop shaped shells surround a lovely raised centre condiment well for sauce or lemons, and the plates are glazed in a lovely sienna mocha glaze.
The scallop wells are arranged on a bed of seaweed, and plates are marked with the Sarreguemines maker's mark from 1974.
